The steel wire screw sleeve is a new type of internal thread fastener, which is suitable for threaded connection.

It is screwed in and fastened in the threaded hole of one of the connected parts to form a standard internal thread.

The bolt (or screw) is screwed in again, also known as the screw thread sleeve, which is called the screw sleeve for short.

Marking method of steel wire insert:
1. Fr (common type) MD (diameter) x P (pitch) - Nd (diameter)
2. SL (locking type) MD (diameter) x P (pitch) - Nd (diameter)
Standard marking method:
D (diameter) × P (pitch) × n or w (number of steel thread ferrules in free state)

Increase the stress surface: it can be used for thin parts requiring strong connection but not increasing the diameter of screw hole. Because the surface of steel wire screw sleeve is smooth, wear-resistant, heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant, it can be used for the parts that are often disassembled and installed and in the screw hole that are often rotated to extend its use

When the screw is screwed into the screw hole of the locking type steel wire sleeve, it is loose before it enters the polygon locking ring. When the screw enters the polygon locking ring,  it is necessary to open the polygon to deform the locking edge. At this time, the screw needs to overcome the friction force of the locking edge on the screw. After the screw is tightened, this friction force can prevent the screw from loosening itself, thus replacing other locking methods.
